Looking for RMA success stories in Czechia
Do you have an example from your institution where research management truly made a difference? CZARMA is looking for Czech research management and administration success stories that can be showcased at the Polish FFA Conference and during a stakeholder workshop promoting ERA Action 17.We are not only interested in “hard” results such as increased success rates in grant applications or higher levels of research funding. We would also like to hear about less visible, but equally important achievements: building trust between researchers and support teams, improving collaboration across departments, establishing effective mechanisms, streamlining processes, or demonstrating a measurable impact of research support on an institution, its teams, or individual researchers.
For inspiration on what can be considered an RMA success story, see the European Commission publication Success Stories from the Research Management Community: A Catalog of Best Practices and Achievements.
What should you send us?
A short description of approximately half a page to one page, ideally structured as follows:
- Working title of your success story
- Institution and contact person
- Initial situation or challenge
- What needed to be changed, improved, or established?
- What was achieved
- What role did research management, the RMA team, or project support play?
- Impact
- This may include quantitative outcomes, but also softer or process-related impacts such as improved collaboration, increased trust, clearer responsibilities, effective mechanisms, greater researcher engagement, faster processes, and similar benefits.
Do you have an example worth sharing? Please contact us at petra.vaculikova@czarma.cz. We would be happy to help with drafting and refining your story.
